Rasam

Tomato rasam









Ingredients
Tomatoes (ripe)   4
Tamarind           a small lime size
Sugar                 according to taste
Pepper powder  1pinch
Jeera powder     1 pinch
Rasam powder  2 spoons

Method

     Pressure cook tomato and tamarind and allow to cool. Grind it and mix enough water, sugar and all the powders simultaneously in a vessel and allow to boil. In a small kadai add a spoon of oil and heat it.Add mustard, jeera, garlic red chilli ,curry leaf for seasoning and transfer this into the vessel containing rasam.Allow it to boil for 2 to 3 minutes and the rasam is done!
